Common questions
How do I start and stop a signal?
Open Taxi Magnet and tap a colour. The countdown starts at 15 seconds. Tap Stop to return to the colour buttons sooner. The signal also stops when you leave the app.
Why is the colour steady instead of flashing?
Taxi Magnet respects your device’s Reduce Motion accessibility setting. When it is enabled, the app shows a steady colour for the same 15-second countdown.
Does the app need internet or location access?
No. Signalling works offline and does not need your location. Taxi Magnet does not book a ride or send a message to a driver.
How do I use the Apple Watch app?
Open Taxi Magnet on your Watch and select a colour. The signal stops automatically after 15 seconds, or you can tap Stop. The Watch app is included with the iPhone app.
How do I report a TestFlight problem?
You can send beta feedback through TestFlight, or email the developer. Apple’s TestFlight service can provide crash reports and testing diagnostics; see the privacy policy for more information.
